The specific application of ozone in the wastewater treatment
1. Industrial organic wastewater and cyanide-containing wastewater - ozone is a strong oxidant, which can convert toxic pollutants into non-toxic substances. It has strong oxidizing ability to treat wastewater, can decompose organic substances that are difficult to destroy by general oxidants, and has safe reaction and short time. The remaining ozone, which can be converted into oxygen, is not only harmless but beneficial. It can be used for disinfection, deodorization, deodorization, color removal, iron and manganese removal, phenol removal, cyanide removal, detergent removal, oil removal, etc.
2. For heavy oil cracking wastewater, when PH≈11.4, the removal efficiency of cyanide reaches 79.3%; for electroplating wastewater, when the concentration of cyanide is 32.5% mg/L, the removal rate of cyanide reaches 98.9%; for acrylic fiber wastewater, containing acrylonitrile At 102 mg/1, acrylonitrile can be completely removed by ozone treatment.

4. Phenol-containing wastewater - including phenol, phloroglucinol, cresol, xylenol, etc. Phenol can denature proteins and damage the liver, kidneys, and nervous system. Phenol-containing wastewater comes from: gas, coking, petroleum refining, chemical industry, pharmaceuticals, pesticides, textile rubber, dyes, wood processing, etc.
5. Sulfur-containing wastewater - sulfide has odor, toxicity and corrosiveness, which can kill organisms in water, reduce PH value and dissolved oxygen index. Sulfur-containing wastewater comes from: petroleum, chemical, coking, paper, fur, leather, livestock slaughter, textile dyes, chemical fibers and other industries.
6. Cyanide-containing wastewater - potassium cyanide and sodium cyanide are highly toxic, and ozone can oxidize them into less toxic cyanate. Cyanide-containing wastewater comes from: electroplating, coking, gas, metallurgy, mining, fur, rubber, chemical fiber plexiglass, etc.
7. Oily wastewater - including fatty acids, royalties, waxes and materials that can be extracted by solvents. Oily wastewater comes from: petroleum, chemical industry, machinery, transportation, coking, steel rolling, gas, food, diet, leather, fur , scouring, daily chemicals, etc.
8. Wastewater containing iron and manganese ions-excessive iron and manganese ions will cause certain harm to the cardiovascular and skin of the human body. The wastewater containing iron and manganese ions comes from: mining and metallurgy, machinery, chemical industry, electronics, instrumentation and other industries.
